The Eastern Counties Gymnastics Assn. Regional Club Grades 2 & 3 Championships saw some super performances from members of the Bury Spectrum Gymnastics Club in big entry fields from numerous clubs.
In Grade 3, Charlotte Codling has returned with a vengeance after a long spell out of the sport. Charlotte produced an excellent score of 48.50 to become Eastern region Champion. This result means that she will lead the Eastern Team in the National finals where she will be joined by club mate Siobahn Fitzsimons who produced 46.75 for an excellent fourth place. Hannah Cornish scored 44.40 to finish in the top half of the field.
In Grade 2 Victoria Abery just missed out on top spot by three tenths of a mark. Victoria scored 48.475 for the Silver medal position and will also travel to the National finals to represent the Eastern Region.
